'Dream Big' in Plano Schools

Doug Otto - SuperintendentSuperintendent of Schools Dr. Doug Otto shared his dream with 7,000 employees, during his annual back-to-school Convocation keynote address.

"My dream is that EVERY child who comes through our doors - rich, poor, young or old - will achieve his or her dreams. Plano ISD will be the school system to reach that goal."

At Convocation, and on the first day of school, our faculty, staff and students shared their dreams for the future.

 


Linda Patrick - Mitchell"I dream that Mitchell Elementary students are respectful citizens, because education isn't practice for life...It is life. I also dream that I will be a light for future educators."

Linda Patrick, principal, presented school spirit pencils to fourth grade students of Team Leader Molly McCreary.


Saigling Elementary Staff"Our dream is that Saigling Elementary School is 'positively' the best. Our faculty and staff are studying Ken Blanchard's book 'Whale Done,' which promotes positive behavior reinforcement. The students already love the theme."
