Happy new year! ... I am pleased to share with you this electronic version of our 2007 Annual Report, "FUTURES by Plano Independent School District."
As the title suggests, we are preparing students for successful futures well beyond our classrooms. Our students will graduate with confidence that they are more than adequately prepared for college and their future educational journeys.
Major initiatives featured throughout this report include our new University Ready compendium of online tools and resources, our five-year strategic planning effort and bond program results and 2008 bond study task force.
Achievements of our students, faculty and schools are also featured in this report, providing compelling evidence that our school district's 100-year tradition of excellence increases in diversity and significance with each passing school year.
