Special Educator Earns H-E-B Award
Tracey King, instructor at Plano ISD's Larry D. Guinn Special Programs Center, has captured finalist standing in H-E-B's Excellence in Education Awards Program recognizing Texas teachers. The "Rising Star" will be honored on May 4 in Houston, where she will compete for the state award.  |

900 Applicants Attend Plano Job Fair
Plano ISD's March 29 Recruitment Open House was a huge success, with 900 teaching applicants and 500 volunteers in attendance. "As a result of the open house and other recruiting efforts, we hope to fill all vacancies with only the most highly qualified teaching candidates," reports Tamira Griffin, Plano ISD executive director of human resources. |
