Summer Opportunities for Learning
Plano ISD announces its Summer Opportunities for Learning program, which will enrich the educational journey for an anticipated 8,000 students in grades kindergarten through 12. Students can enroll in courses that reinforce and or enrich skills and knowledge learned during the regular school year. Elementary school students can choose from numerous enrichment programs designed to stimulate and encourage learning. Read the following program descriptions on our web site:
Summer school information and registration forms will be sent home with elementary school students after spring break. Secondary students will obtain summer school information from their school counselors.
More Summer Opportunities...
eSchool - High school students can enroll in Plano ISD's online courses through eSchool to enhance their high school programs, accelerate graduation or to earn credits toward graduation.
Band and Orchestra camps offer middle school students a fun way to hone their musical talents and skills.
PASAR Summer Care - Plano ISD will register elementary school students in PASAR, which will be offered at several school sites this summer. Fun and enriching summer programs will include weekly field trips and arts and crafts. Plano ISD certified teachers will be available to reinforce academic skills.
Summer Activities for Children - We've also posted on our web site tips for helping children ages 2 through 15 beat summer boredom.

Named the high school to be constructed in Murphy in honor of the late C.A. McMillen, a pioneer Murphy citizen.

District-Based Improvement Committee report in response to advocacy committee recommendations.
