42 Plano Schools Rated 'Higher Performing' in National College & Career Readiness Study

Forty-two Plano ISD schools have been selected as 2008 Just for the Kids Higher Performing Schools in Texas, based on college- and career-readiness analyses conducted by the National Center for Educational Achievement. Twenty-eight of the 42 schools earned "higher performing" ratings in all subject areas.READ

Recruitment Open House Interviews

Literally swept in by strong March winds, a record 1,260 teacher applicants flocked to Plano ISD's 15th Annual Recruitment Open House on March 28. Hundreds of Plano ISD graduates attended the event, anticipating employment in their home school district.READ
