NCEA Higher Performing Schools
The National Center for Educational Achievement (NCEA) recognized 37 Plano ISD schools as part of its 2009 Just for the Kids Campaign for Higher Performing Schools in Texas. NCEA's mission is to help K-12 students reach college and career readiness. Its campaign identifies and celebrates higher performing schools nationwide.  |

January 19 Meeting - School trustees will meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19, at the Plano ISD Administration Building, 2700 W. 15th Street. Following is a brief list of agenda items. View the full agenda and related links on BoardBook .
- Trustees will celebrate School Board Recognition Month, Holiday Greeting Card Art Contest finalists, the Autism Society of Collin County and TBEC Honor Roll Schools.
- Consent agenda items will include bids and purchases, construction items, budget items, renewal of innovative courses and an employee benefit plan document.
- Updates will be reported regarding Plano ISD's Employee Child Care Center and the State Board of Education's graduation requirements decision.
- Policies for adoption will include FFAC (Local) and FFAA (Local) regarding wellness and health services and TASB Localized Policy Manual Update 86.
