In this week's eNews, Dr. Elaine Schmidt, principal, shares her philosophy of education for young learners and introduces you to the school's namesake, Sara Isaacs, who will be guest of honor at the dedication.

NASA Moon Tree Lands at PSHS
NASA officials joined Plano Senior High School students and staff in a celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Apollo Program during a Moon Tree dedication ceremony at the school this week. Students heard about NASA's mission and discussed career choices in science and math.
PTA Gifts Historic Treasures
The Plano ISD Council of PTAs celebrated the Texas PTA's 100th Anniversary with a gift to Plano ISD's historic classroom located at the Cox Building on Avenue H in downtown Plano. An historic PTA scrapbook is now showcased in the classroom. Council officers and past presidents were honored by the school board this week.
