Recognized at April
12 Event

Approximately 300 employees were recognized at the 40th Annual
Plano ISD Service and Retirement Event held at
5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12,
at Southfork Ranch. Faculty and staff with 15, 20,
25, 30, 35 and 40 years of service, retiring employees
and Superintendent’s
Service Award nominees were honored guests at the event.

Employees with 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years of service to Plano
schools were recognized at the April 12 district
event. Employees with 10 years of service will be honored
at their campuses or departments. A link is provided

Retirement Recognition
Employees who are retiring from Plano ISD and employees who are leaving
the district (voluntary separation) with 15 years of
PISD experience or 20 years in public education, were
recognized at the 40th Annual
Plano ISD Salute to Service employee recognition on
April 12. Staff members who were honored notified the
human resources department by March 1, 2005, of their
retirement plans. Plano ISD wishes the following staff
members much happiness in their retirement from the
district.

Superintendent's Service Award
Dr. Doug Otto presented his sixth annual
Superintendent’s
Service Award to four members of the Plano ISD support
staff. This prestigious award was presented during
a surprise announcement at the 40th Annual Plano ISD
Service and Retirement Event held on April 12 at Southfork
Ranch. The award recognizes members of the Plano
ISD support staff whose dedication, commitment and
effort rise above and
beyond expectations. Support staff members nominated
for the award include paraprofessionals,
CTAs, library assistants, technology support and
several employee classifications in the FANS, transportation,
warehouse, purchasing
and facility services departments.
