Orchestra/Band Camps

The Plano Independent School District will hold its Summer Music
Camps again this year for middle school students in
Plano and the surrounding area.
Orchestra Camp
Orchestra Camp will be at Plano West Senior High School during the
week of June 6-10. The week of Orchestra camp is for students currently
enrolled in 6th, 7th and 8th grades. The camps are from 8:00 AM to
Noon, Monday thru Friday, with a Friday night concert at the end of
week. The tuition for the camp is $65.00. There is an optional $20
for bus transportation from any of the high schools in Plano. The
Orchestra Camp entry deadline is May 5.
Band Camp
Band Camp will be at Plano East Senior High School during the weeks
of June 6-10 and June 13-17. The first week of the
Band Camp is for students of beginner to intermediate level, currently
enrolled in
6th or 7th grade. The second week is for students of
intermediate to advanced level, currently enrolled in 7th or 8th grade.
The tuition
for the camps is $65.00 per week. There is an optional
$20 per week for bus transportation from any of the high schools in
Plano. The
Band Camp entry deadline is May 13.
Application forms
may be obtained from any Plano ISD middle school
orchestra or band director or on the Plano
ISD Performing Arts website.
