Trustees Honor 800 Students
at Annual Awards Ceremony

Student walking across stageTrustee Awards of Excellence were presented to nearly 800 students on June 2 at Plano ISD’s annual Trustee Awards of Excellence ceremony held at Plano Centre.

Students were recognized for making outstanding accomplishments throughout the school year in nearly 100 categories representing academic and extracurricular events. (Pictured: Trustee Allan Bird prepares to award a young event honoree with the Trustee Award medallion.)

The Trustee Award of Excellence is the highest, most prestigious district award given, recognizing students who have achieved regional, state, and national awards while representing PISD in various curricular and co-curricular competitions and events.
