New Plano ISD and College
Concurrent Enrollment Program

December 21, 2005

Beginning with the 2006-07 school year, qualifying Plano ISD juniors and seniors may take classes with Collin County Community College (Collin), which will count as high school graduation credit as well as college credit.

Juniors will be able to take one Collin class each semester, and seniors will have the opportunity to take two classes through Collin each semester. The classes will include:

  • Juniors - US History
  • Seniors - English and Government/Economics

Successful completion of these classes will allow students to graduate from high school and already have 18 hours of college credit with Collin.

Information about the Plano ISD/Collin Concurrent Enrollment Program may be picked up in all high school and senior high school counseling offices, beginning January 2006.
