PSHS Teammates Sweep
Princeton Speech Championship

December 7, 2005

The Plano Senior High School Speech and Debate team swept the Princeton University Speech Tournament on December 2-4, where they earned National Champion titles. The invitational contest drew 60 schools from around the country for three days of events.

Coaches Karen Wilbanks, Cheryl Potts and Vanda Terrell, and Counselor Sheri Wise agreed to allow students to color their hair, if they won the national championship...The teachers returned to school on Monday sporting hair styles in Princeton orange and black.

PSHS students Ace Heckathorn, Chloe Sikes and Emilee Nelson were all three named national champions.
