Renner Middle School PTA Event
Nov. 8 - Helping Children Be Self Motivated
Parents, bring your lunch and your questions to the Renner Middle
School Library, 5701 West Parker Road, at 11:30 on Tuesday, November
8, and be prepared to learn skills that could have a significant,
positive impact on your child’s life!
What makes each of our children special and distinguishes them
from each other? What choices do our children make each day that
can help them accomplish their goals? How can we help our children
to believe in themselves and to dream big? How can we help our
children create their future and become self-motivated? How can
we guide our children to feel good about themselves and help them
find their "tallcomings" rather than their "shortcomings?”
How do we create opportunities for our children to be successful
and how do we teach our children responsibility and show them that
they can make a difference in this world? How do we help our children
create their own path to excellence? And how do we, as parents,
handle children who are not as successful as we wish they could
be? What can we do to bring out the best in them and accept them
as they are?
Come join Marilyn Kaufman, M.Ed., an educator with more than 20 years of experience,
discuss these issues and provide practical solutions and strategies to give
you the tools to help your child become self motivated, successful and thrive
as a young person, filled with hope and promise. Come prepared to be informed
on how to help our children feel good about themselves and be inspired as we
learn how to recognize our own children's gifts and talents.
This and all of the parent education programs at Renner are sponsored
by the Renner PTA and are free and open to the public.
