Hundreds
of Plano ISD Employees to be Recognized at April
6 Event
January 31, 2006
Approximately 300 employees will be recognized at
the 41st Annual Plano ISD Service and Retirement Event
to be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 6,
at Southfork Ranch. Faculty and staff with 15, 20,
25, 30, 35 and 40 years of service, retiring employees
and Superintendent’s
Service Award nominees will be honored guests at the event.
Superintendent's Service Award
Dr. Doug Otto will present his Seventh Annual Superintendent’s
Service Award to members of the Plano ISD support staff
at the April 6 service and
retirement event. This prestigious award recognizes
members of the PISD support staff whose dedication,
commitment and effort rise above and beyond expectations.

event. Employees with 10 years of service will be honored

Retirement Recognition
Employees who are retiring from Plano ISD and employees who are leaving
the district (voluntary separation) with 15 years of
PISD experience or 20 years in public education, will
be recognized at the 41st Annual
Plano ISD Salute to Service employee recognition on
April 6. Staff members who wish to be honored at the
April event must notify the human resources department
by March 1, 2006, of their retirement plans.
