Schools
to Host Open Houses
in Recognition of Statewide Event
January 24, 2006
 Plano ISD's 53,000 students and 7,000 educators will join their
peers across the state to open their doors and invite
the community to take a first-hand look at their
educational programs during Texas Public Schools Week
in February.
As part of the statewide celebration, entitled "Texas
Public Schools: Driven to Succeed," Plano ISD will
host open houses on the following evenings.
- Friday, January 27
Harrington Chinese Pre-K Open
House, 9:15 am & 1:30 pm
- Monday, February 6
Senior High Schools (Grades 11-12)
- Tuesday, February 7
Middle Schools (Grades 6-8)
- Thursday, February 9
Early Childhood Schools, Even Start
Program & Head Start Program (Prek) and High Schools (Grades
9-10)
- Thursday, March 2
Elementary Schools (Grades K-5)
Open houses are generally held from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; however, each
school sets specific times. Please contact schools
for times.

open houses via their electronic newsletters. To
