Renner
Middle School Team Wins Area History Bowl Competition

A
team of five eighth grade students from Renner Middle School participated
in the History Bowl competition held at Bishop Lynch High School
on Saturday, November 11.
The
event included a 75-question written test and a jeopardy round.
In the final round, the Renner
team beat the team from Canyon Creek to capture first place.
Congratulations
go to Derek Ou for the achieving the highest test score in the
competition and to Kathleen Gaskins, Hannah Kang, Ruiting Xia,
Derek Ou and Edward Strecker for winning first place. The teacher/sponsor
is Eight Grade Social Studies teacher Chris Garrett.
