13th
Annual Teacher Recruitment Open House a Huge Success
March 23, 2007
The
13th Annual Plano ISD Teacher Recruitment Open House broke records. “It
was the highest attended fair in our history,” reported Becky
Wussow, director of human resource services, of the March 17 event.
“We
had more than 500 volunteers and 1,039 Highly Qualified teacher
candidates come through the doors of Murphy Middle School. Based
on multiple principal comments,
most feel that they were able to see a wide range of excellent candidates.
Several principals have already made recommendations to human resources
to hire these top candidates.”
