Science Learning Center Anniversary Event April

 The
Plano ISD community is invited to attend the 30th Anniversary
Celebration for the Holifield
Science Learning Center .
The event will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April
22, at Williams High School, 1717 17th Street.
The
celebration will include presentations by city and school district
dignitaries and recognition of the Aldridge Elementary School Class
of 1977, the first class to tour the outdoor learning center. A
reception will follow, and shuttle buses will transport guests
from Williams to the science center to view the facility and travel
the trails.
Leading
the celebration committee are Holifield Center Staff Tammy Welch,
Brett Taylor and Jim Dunlap, Associate Superintendent for Academic
Initiatives Marilyn Brooks, and Curriculum Coordinators Ginger
Britain and Phyllis Stoup, plus several of the center’s
staff.
