Shepton
Speech Tops in N. Texas

The
Shepton High School chapter of the National Forensic League has
been named the “Leading Chapter” for the North Texas
Longhorn district for the 2005-2006 academic year.
This
distinction marks excellence in accumulating memberships and degrees
in the prestigious competitive speech organization, which allows
students in Debate and Oral Interpretation classes to compete
throughout
the year in a variety of competitive speaking events.
Over
the past several years, Shepton has qualified numerous students
for
state and national competition, and is honored to receive
this award. The Shepton Speech
Team is coached by Kevin Moore and Creed Hansen.
