Doug Otto Named Among
'21 Leaders for 21st Century'

Dr. Doug Otto, Superintendent of Schools, captured the “21 Leaders for the 21st Century” Award, sponsored by the "Inside Collin County Business" newspaper. The honorees represent community volunteers, elected officials, civic leaders, educators and more.

Dr. Otto has led Plano ISD since 1995, overseeing its rapid growth in enrollment and a challenging school finance system. (Read Dr. Otto's profile on this website.)
His numerous honors include induction in the Illinois State University College of Education Hall of Fame and being recognized by the Plano ISD Board of Trustees as namesake of the future Douglas W. Otto Middle School.
