1st Grade Curriculum Awarded by North

Plano ISD and the City of Plano were recognized by the North Texas Corporate Recycling Association (NTCRA) recently for their cooperative First Grade Field Trip Curriculum, which includes lessons built around a visit to the City’s Environmental Discovery Center.

The City designed and developed the curriculum in cooperation with Plano ISD Curriculum Department's Phyllis Stoup, elementary social studies coordinator, and Ginger Britain, assistant director for elementary curriculum.
This fall will be the third year the program has been offered.
