Students in 11th and 12th grade who still need to pass one or more sections of the TAKS test to meet their requirements for graduation will have an opportunity to retake the English/Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, or Science portions in July. Please note the test time has been changed for the July administration. Check-in begins at 8:00 AM and testing begins at 8:30 AM

The student's School ID, Driver's License, or other picture ID is required for check-in. Students without verifiable identification will not be tested. Once testing has begun, late arrivals may not be tested.
The Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) is designed to measure student achievement of the full range of state essential knowledge and skills in the curricula for English/Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies in eleventh grade.
Students must meet the passing standard for all portions of the TAKS Exit-Level test in order to be eligible for high school graduation in Texas.
