Plano Senior High School Wins
6th Regional Academic Decathlon
February 12, 2009
Plano Senior High School won the Academic Decathlon regional competition for the sixth consecutive year, capturing 37 individual medals and 27 team medals. The team’s Maria Zhu was the meet’s overall leading scorer. Plano East placed second at the tournament held recently in Rockwall, and Plano West also qualified to advance. All three teams will compete at the state tournament to be held in late February in Houston.
