Two Students Capture State Bus Safety Poster Contest Awards

Congratulations to Plano ISD students Kalifornia “Kali” Bolton and Sharon Jiang, at Hickey and Mitchell elementary schools, respectively, who will travel to Austin on October 20 to help Texas Governor Rick Perry proclaim National School Bus Safety Week - October 20-24.

The young ladies will be honored during an awards luncheon to be hosted by the governor for captuing first place awards at the local and regional level of the state’s annual school bus safety poster contest, and they each captured second place awards at the state level.
