Carnivals and fundraisers support the activities of our schools and PTAs. Please join these school communities by attending their family events (schools are listed alphabetically).
Barksdale Elementary
School Carnival

- Date: Thursday, October 23, 2008
- Time: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
- Activities: bounce houses, DJ, Barksdale Bricks tile painting fundraiser
- Funds will support: enrichment programs
Bethany Elementary
School Carnival
2418 Micarta Dr., Plano, TX 75025
- Date: Saturday, November 8, 2008
- Time: 2 to 5 p.m.
- Activities: bounce house, obstacle course, bike rodeo, food, games and prizes
- Funds will support: Bethany PTA programs and school field trips
Carlisle Elementary
School Carnival

- Date: Saturday, October 11, 2008
- Time: 2 to 5 p.m.
- Activities: games, food, country store, music
- Funds will support: Carlisle PTA
Harrington Elementary
Hip Hop and Silent Auction
1540 Baffin Bay Dr., Plano, TX 75075
- Date: Friday, November 21, 2008
- Time: 6 to 9 p.m.
- Activities: DJ, music, dancing, food and silent auction
- Funds will support: Harrington classrooms
Hedgcoxe Elementary
School Carnival
7701 Prescott Drive, Plano, TX, 75025
- Date: Friday, November 7, 2008
- Time: 5 to 9 p.m.
- Activities: annual silent auction, gift basket auction, vending booths, bounce houses, petting zoo, train ride, dance performances by Dance Movement and Chamberlain Ballet, dunking booth, rock climbing wall, music, and lots of good food such as -- corn dogs, Frito pies, funnel cakes and much more!
- Funds will support: student field trips and assemblies, fine arts day and classroom parties
Hickey Elementary
School Carnival
4100 Coldwater Creek, Plano, TX 75074
- Date: Saturday, October 25, 2008
- Time: 1 to 4 p.m.
- Activities: Game and snack booths, inflatables and Bowman Dance Team
- Funds will support: students, teachers, field trips and educational programs
Mathews Elementary
Family Wild West Carnival
7500 Marchman Way, Plano, TX 75025
- Date: Saturday, October 25, 2008
- Time: 4 to 8 p.m.
- Activities: silent auction, music, bounce house, inflatable obstacle course, cake walk, food, games, prizes and much more!
- Funds will support: Mathews PTA student/parent programs
Pearson Early Childhood Center
School Carnival
4000 Eagle Pass, Plano, TX 75023
- Date: Saturday, November 8, 2008
- Time: 1 to- 4 p.m.
- Activities: games, bounce house cake walk, silent auction, concessions
- Funds will support: Pearson PTA
Plano West Senior High
Annual Snowflake Holiday Bazaar
5301 W. Parker Rd., Plano, TX 75093
- Date: Saturday & Sunday, November 1 & 2, 2008
- Time: Saturday -- 9 to 5 p.m.; Sunday -- noon to 5 p.m.
- Activities: shop over 100 artists, crafts and vendors; and the cafe will serve Frito pies, hotdogs, drinks and more. Admission is free.
- Funds will support: Plano West Senior High Band Boosters
Sigler Elementary
First Annual Fall Festival
1400 Janwood Drive, Plano, TX 75075
- Date: Saturday, October 25, 2008
- Time: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Activities: craft sale, bike rodeo, health fair, music and fun
- Funds will support: Sigler's parenting program, ESL classes and Watch D.O.G.S. (dads' club)
Thomas Elementary
Fall Festival

- Date: Saturday, October 11, 2008
- Time: 4 to 7 p.m.
- Activities: food, games, bounce house and a rock climbing wall
- Funds will support: Thomas PTA
William High School
Fall Festival

- Date: Saturday, October 25, 2008
- Time: 2 to 6 p.m.
- Activities: games, haunted house, activity booths, bounce house, club sponsored booths, and more.
