UIL One-Act Play Competitions

Plano ISD students captured several awards from recent UIL One-Act Play contest.
Area Competition
Congratulations to the Plano West Senior High School Theatre Department, whose production of Moliere’s The Imaginary Invalid, directed by Carla Ford-Rich and Norv Sykes, won the following awards. Elly Kolitz earned an Honorable Mention All-Star Cast award, Philip Rosen secured an All-Star Cast acting award, and Becca Koopferstock earned an All-Star Tech Award.
District Competition
Plano West received five individual awards at the district-level competition held in April at McKinney Boyd High School, before advancing to the Area meet at Coppell High School.
At District, Kevin Pellicone and Devin Ketko received Honorable Mention All-Star Cast awards. Philip Rosen and Jenna Kassul received All-Star Cast acting awards. Becca Koopferstock received an All-Star Tech Award.
Plano East Senior High School was awarded Alternate Play.
