District Honors Hundreds of Employees for Service, Retirement

The Plano ISD Board of Trustees and Superintendent of Schools Dr. Doug Otto hosted approximately 800 guests at the school district's 44th Annual Service and Retirement Banquet on April 2 at Southfork Ranch. Honorees included:

Superintendent's Service Award Nominees

Superintendent of Schools Dr. Doug Otto honored 87 nominees for his 10th Annual Superintendent’s Service Award program. This prestigious award recognizes members of the Plano ISD support staff whose dedication, commitment and effort rise above and beyond expectations.

Surprise award presentations were made by Superintendent Otto to four award winners on the evening of the event.

Eligible nominees included paraprofessionals, CTAs, library assistants, technology support and several employee classifications in FANS (food and nutritional services), transportation, warehouse, purchasing and facility services.
