Carnivals and fundraisers support the activities of our schools and PTAs. Please join these school communities by attending their family events, which will be held at the schools, unless otherwise noted. Events are listed alphabetically by school. Check this site frequently for updates.

Aldridge Elementary School

Daffron Elementary School

Harrington Elementary School

• Event: Hip Hop / Silent Auction and 30th Birthday Celebration
• Date: November 20
• Time: 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.
• Location: Cafeteria / Gym
• Activities: Join us for an amazing evening filled with dancing to tunes provided by a rockin' DJ, hot dogs, nachos, tattoos, face painting, hair braiding stations, raffle prizes, gifts from the hip-hop shop and more. Our silent auction offers all sorts of goodies such as hand crafted items from local artisans, spa days, hotel packages, event tickets, theme filled baskets and special activities such as rock climbing, movie and popcorn parties and pizza parties. Be sure to stop by for a piece of birthday cake!

Hedgcoxe Elementary School

• Event: Fall Carnival
• Date: Friday, November 6
• Time: 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
• Activities: Join us for an amazing carnival filled with a bake sale, cake walk, petting zoo, pony rides, train, DJ, face painting, photographer, rock climbing wall, inflatable obstacle course, inflatable jousting and, yes,...even more inflatables. Meet Big Tex at the mid-way style gaming area with lots of exciting traditional carnival games. Be sure to stop by the cafeteria for pork sandwiches, funnel cake and much more!

Martha Hunt Elementary School

• Event: Oktoberfest
• Date:  Thursday, October 29
• Time:  5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
  Activities: family games, drinks, hot dogs and chips
• Proceeds will support:  PTA programs

Plano West Senior High School

• Event: Snowflake Bazaar
• Date: Saturday & Sunday, November 7 & 8
• Times: Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.;
  Sunday Noon to 4:00 p.m.
• Shop for seasonal items, floral designs, gourmet specialties, jewelry, toys, candles, monogramming, ornaments, stationery, home and fashion accessories, ladies and children's wear, designed pillows, hand crafted musical instruments, handbags, home fragrances, etc.
• Proceeds will benefit: Plano West Band

Shepard Elementary School
