Jackson Jeffcoats to Attend UT

Plano West Senior High School Football Player Jackson Jeffcoat announced today that he will attend the University of Texas. He made the announcement at a press conference at Plano West, with his family and school administrators' support.

Jeffcoat shows his UT pride with (front) sister Jasmine, mother Tammy, father Jim and twin sister Jacqueline, who has committed to play at Oklahoma University. Also pictured are (back) Plano West's Kathy King, principal, and Mike Hughes, athletic director and head football coach.
Jeffcoat was selected to play in the 2010 U.S. Army All-American Bowl joining an elite group of student athletes, on January 9 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Upon his selection in October, 2009, Army representatives called Jeffcoat a "talented athlete whose exemplary displays of leadership and teamwork have made him a standout at Plano West Senior High School.”
Jeffcoat's twin sister Jacqueline has committed to play basketball at Oklahoma University.
