Annual Diversity Leadership Award Nominations Due Dec. 9

 Plano ISD’s Diversity Advisory Committee is seeking nominations through December 9 for its 11th Annual Diversity Leadership Award. Winners will be announced at Plano ISD’s Martin Luther King, Jr., Tribute to be held on January 19, 2012, at Plano West Senior High School.
Nominations Due December 9, 2011
Nominations will be solicited from students, staff members
and Plano ISD community members. The nomination form may
be downloaded in either Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF formats.

Nominees may include individuals or groups (Plano ISD staff, students, PTAs, community members) who have helped to advance and promote diversity through stronger relationships, improved communication, and enhanced understanding within Plano ISD or the broader community since January 2011.
The Plano ISD Diversity Advisory Committee consists of Plano ISD staff and community members who focus attention on school district programs and/or issues regarding race, religion, ethnicity or disability-related situation, studying various programs based on the needs of the community and student body.
