'Holiday Joy' Theme of Annual District Greeting Card Art Contest

October 3, 2011

Win Up to $150 in U.S. Savings Bonds

Plano ISD is seeking the talent of students to assist the district in designing artwork for Plano ISD's 2011 holiday greeting card. This year’s contest theme is “Holiday Joy.”

Superintendent of Schools Dr. Doug Otto, the Plano ISD Education Foundation and Webb & Webb, P.C., Attorneys and Counselors at Law invite all Plano ISD students to enter the holiday greeting card contest by creating own original artwork to be considered by our expert panel of judges for the cover of the Plano ISD and Webb & Webb holiday greeting cards.

Entries will be judged by Superintendent Doug Otto, sponsors, the school district art coordinator and other district administrators.

Four contest finalists will be selected from each of the school levels (elementary, middle, high and senior high), with the winning entry selected from the group of finalists and cash awards as follows:

  • $50 savings bonds for each of four finalists from elementary, middle, high and senior high schools; and
  • $100 savings bond (additional) for the winner selected from among the top four finalists.

The entry deadline is October 20 to schools and October 25 to the district art coordinator.
