On December 7, 2016 Saigling Elementary School celebrated meeting their PTA membership goal of “A Voice for Every Student” with an all school assembly. Of the 70 PTA’s in Plano ISD, Saigling is the only school with a PTA membership for every child enrolled. In fact, only one other PTA in the state of Texas has also accomplished this goal.

Texas PTA has a long history of child advocacy and parental involvement in the education of children. The future is our children and children are given their best chance to fulfill their potential when community and school work together. Made up of millions of members, Texas PTA is a powerhouse focused on making every child's potential a reality by strengthening schools and taking a comprehensive approach to community success. By having a membership for each child, each child at Saigling Elementary has a voice - an advocate - to help make a difference in their educational experiences in Plano ISD.
