Plano ISD Hosts Annual MLK Tribute - Thirty Years Strong!

Highlight Annual Tribute to American Leader

Plano ISD invites our community to the 2017 tribute event Thirty Years Strong honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This annual celebration will showcase student talent and diversity leadership in our schools and community.

Date: January 19, 2017

Preprogram entertainment: 6:30 p.m.
Program: 7:00 to 8:15 p.m.

Location: Williams High School auditorium located at 1717 17th Street, Plano 75074

During the event, awards will be presented to student winners of the Plano ISD 2016-17 MLK Art Contest and to winners of the 2017 Diversity Leadership Awards.

Dr. Myrtle Hightower, long time chair of the Plano ISD MLK Tribute Planning Committee and former Plano ISD school counselor, leads the group of school district staff and community members in preparing for this community event.
