Dear Plano ISD eNews Subscriber:

Due to severe weather last evening, some Plano schools experienced interrupted telephone service and intermittent power outages this morning. Most systems were restored by approximately 7:50 a.m. today.

At the time of this message (Thursday, May 3, 9:45 a.m.), Gulledge Elementary School continues to experience outages, but is operating a regular instructional day with emergency measures in place.

Sigler Elementary School continues to experience interrupted telephone service, with other services operational, including emergency telephone service.

Plano ISD has given permission to Oncor Energy to locate crews at Clark Stadium in order to make a focused local effort to restore service to all campuses experiencing outages.

The safety and security of our students and staff are our utmost priority. We are prepared to meet the needs of our students in such situations.
