Acceleration / Additional Course Credit
Some advanced academic students find it useful to create space in their schedules in their junior and/or senior years by earning course credit outside of the traditional school day. Summer school, Credit by Exam and eSchool are possible ways to earn this credit. When considering any of these options, please do so with help from your school counselor.
Credit by Exam
Credit by Exam provides a way for kindergarten through eighth grade students to take a test to move ahead one grade level. For high school students, Credit by Exam provides advanced students an opportunity to earn credit in a course that they have not taken in school. eSchool
eSchool offers flexibility, responsibility and compatibility for students who wish to enrich or supplement their educational program through online courses. For more information, visit the eSchool website.
