CREST Award for Counseling Excellence for the 2008 school year, recognized by Just for the 1st place Elementary/East Cluster – City of Plano’s 2007-2008 Recycling Incentive Program (R.I.P), Susan Geddes - PISD Excellence in Teaching Award & 2006-2007 PISD Elementary Teacher of the Year; Service Projects by Hunt Student Council – food drive for the Plano Santas for needy families in the Plano ISD (over 8,000 cans of food collected); Sister School of Meadows Elementary – school-wide drive for collection of clothing items, collection of Phone Cards for the Military; Honorable Mention in the PISD Elementary Science Fair – Physical Science; two winning projects in the PISD 2008-2009 History Fair Contest , 3 winning entries in the 2008-2009Plano PTA district Reflections Program, 1 winning entry in the 2008-2009 Texas PTA Reflections Program, 2 teams participated in the 2009 NExT Region Destination ImagiNation Tournament, recognized as a “2008 Just for the Kids Higher Performing School in Texas”
