"Inclusion just doesn't work!" Unfortunately, this is a familiar proclamation in the halls of many schools and districts throughout the state. It is also an attitude and a myth that is refuted every day at Plano ISD's Saigling Elementary School.
Successful inclusion and goal achievement has to be intentional. At Saigling, it is created pro-actively through innovative programming that also includes students with the most severe disabilities.
Principal Kellie Latimer provides the passionate leadership at Saiging to accomplish exceptional inclusion and educational goals, aided by the passion for excellence and dedication of Team Leader Christina Long and her ELC team.
