Your benefits will begin on the 1st day of the month following 30 calendar days of employment. You must make your benefit selections before the date your coverage is scheduled to begin.

You will receive a benefits packet at your work location, which explains all the benefit programs offered through the Plano ISD and contains the initial forms you must complete.

1. To make your selections for medical, alternate, dental, vision, pre-tax premiums, and flexible spending accounts, you will the Online Benefits Enrollment Program. Login instructions are in your benefits booklet.

2. Enrollment for life insurance must be done on paper application forms.

3. Enrollment for disability insurance should be done using UNUM's online enrollment application . Login instructions are in your benefits booklet.
