New Employees
Your benefits will begin on the 1st day of the month following 30 calendar days of employment. You must make your benefit selections before the date your coverage is scheduled to begin.
You will receive a benefits packet at your work location, which explains all the benefit programs offered through the Plano ISD and contains the initial forms you must complete.
Use the menu on the right-hand side of this page to access information about the health plan. The menu on the left will take you to other sections of the Staff web site.
1. To make your selections for medical, alternate, dental, vision, pre-tax premiums, and flexible spending accounts, you will use the paper enrollment form included in your benefits packet.
2. Enrollment for life insurance must be done on paper application forms.
3. Enrollment for disability insurance should be done using UNUM's online enrollment application . Login instructions are in your benefits booklet.
