403(b) / 457
The 403(b) program is managed by the Business Services
Division/Payroll Department. Since January 1, 2009, PenServ Plan Services, Inc. is the District's Third Party Administrator for 403(b) plans and may be contacted at 1-800-849-4001 or www.penserv.com/login. Please contact the Payroll Department for further information.
ING is the sole provider for the 457 plan.

401(a) Retirement Plan
The district has established a 401(a) retirement savings plan for all full-time teachers employed prior to the 2011-2012 school year. ING Financial Services is the exclusive provider for this plan.
- Funds may be directed into different investment options.
- Local ING representatives are available to meet with employees to discuss the various funds available.
- The vesting period is 50% at 5 years of service, 75% at 6 years, and 100% at 7 years.

Teachers Retirement System
Employees who work at least
50% will automatically become members of the Teachers Retirement System of Texas (TRS). Standard contributions from both the district and the employee are made to TRS. Employees also make standard monthly contributions to the TRS-Care retiree insurance plan, which is available upon your retirement through TRS.
