Assessments
The Center for Lifestyle Enhancement, the health and wellness division
of the Medical Center of Plano, comes on-site to Plano ISD locations
during the Spring semester and performs wellness assessments, which
include a comprehensive blood analysis (including a SMAC 19, CBC,
and TSH thyroid screen), a resting EKG, and personalized health profile.
The assessment is provided at no cost to full-time employees every
other year. You may pay to participate if you
are: 1) an employee who participated at no cost the previous year;
2) a part-time employee; or 3) the spouse of a full-time or part-time employee.
Also, anyone who participates may choose to pay for additional blood
tests that are offered.
The on-site testing for 2008 is complete. The schedule for Spring 2009 will be posted as soon as it is available.
