Hi Raiders! My name is Macey McKee, and I am so looking forward to learning and growing with you this school year. I teach 6th grade English Language Arts, and I absolutely love it. I taught in another district for 3 years and have been at Bowman teaching 6th grade ELAR since 2019. 

In 2016, I graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English and Social Studies. I am a proud Red Raider, and you can often find me cheering on the Red Raider football and basketball teams on the weekend! (Wreck ‘Em!) When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, going to concerts, and reading all the books!

My main desires are that my students know that they are safe and cared for when they are in my room, and that they are learning and growing over the course of the year. I love my job, and I truly consider it an honor to be a teacher. I look forward to what this year will hold!
