As a science research enthusiast, I have a strong desire to encourage students’ curiosity as they discover where they want to make a difference in our world. Navigating unexpected results is one of my favorite parts of science! I hold a bachelors of science degree in elementary education from Baylor University and a masters of arts in gifted education from The University of North Texas. For two recent summers, I participated in UT Southwestern’s STARS Summer Research Program. A life-changing experience, I studied tissue development by using fruit fly eggs. This past summer, I participated in a teaching program at The University of Texas's McDonald Observatory in Ft. Davis, TX. I am excited about all there is to learn and do this year in 7th and 8th grades!
