Hello! 

This is my first year at Frankford Middle School. I teach on-level 7th grade Texas History and on-level 8th grade U.S. History. Most of my family is from Jamaica, but I was born in Dallas and grew up on the east-side of Plano, TX. I graduated from Plano East Senior High School in 2015. I was granted a Track & Field scholarship at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX. While I was there, my teammates and I won two SLC Championships, and we also got the school record in the 4by800m at Texas Relays in 2019. After my collegiate career, I decided to join the coaching staff as manager/ volunteer coach. Once I graduated SFA with a BA in History, in December 2020, I joined the Frankford Family! As a kid, I always knew I wanted to teach, but nothing really interested me until I truly opened my eyes to History. Learning about the complexities of the world's history has always fascinated me, and I hope to spread the same passion I have about history to my students. Some of my hobbies are: playing the ukulele, exercising, and watching anime.
