Mrs. Ricole Edwards
Title I Math Specialist
I am currently in my 7th year of teaching, but this is my 6th year here in Plano. I am now working along side Ms.Koshkar as a Title I Math Support teacher on campus and serving as the Math Department Chair.
I am a graduate of the University of North Texas with Bachelors in Education, Psychology, and Learning Technologies, and earned my Masters in Curriculum & Instruction- Mathematics Education at the University of Texas at Arlington.
My goal is to help students understand their full potential not only in mathematics, but also in all areas of life. As a teacher, I believe that every child has the necessary skills to achieve anything they put their mindset to and being academically and behaviorally mature are all things I believe I can help my students achieve.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and friends. I like to stay active and physically healthy, and I am also an avid sports fan and love to keep up with the NFL!
My "Why" is to show students someone cares for them, supports them, and enjoys showing them how their uniqueness brings light to this world. I not only want to equip them for success in mathematics, but equip them to face challenges in life with confidence and faith in their own abilities.
