Hi, Falcon family!

This is my 2nd year teaching at Frankford Middle School and my 9th year in education. I will be teaching 6th-grade reading and language arts.  I have my master's degree in MBA and a bachelor's degree in English translation. I went to the University of Texas at Dallas where I earned my teacher certification.  I have my 4-8 ELAR and ESL certifications.

I’m from Iran, and I'm passionate about learning new languages. I know four languages: Farsi, Turkish, French, and English. 

My husband and I keep bees and love spending our time doing outdoor activities. I love reading, traveling, and doing exercise.

My Why: 

I hope to influence my students in a positive way so that they go out and always remember SOMETHING they learned in my class. I also want them to discover something great about themselves, even if it’s just that they can write a good essay. I’d like to be remembered as the teacher who cared about them—the one they could trust to be understanding of what they’re going through. I want to have inspired everyone in some way.
