I have had the honor of serving as an educator since 2003. I began my career in education as a physical education/health teacher and coach. I then became a classroom teacher, where I mainly worked with students in 4th grade. For the last six years, I have had the opportunity to serve as an assistant principal. Throughout my journey as an educator and school leader, I have worked in Garland, Frisco, Nashville, TN, and, for the last nine years, right here in Plano. I have worked with students ranging from pre-kindergarten through high school. I am excited to bring my skills and experiences to Forman Elementary and work alongside you to support your children as they attain high levels of success.

Over the last few years, there have been many challenges and hardships inside and outside our schools. As we continue to encounter obstacles in the vital work of growing and empowering students, I want you to know what you can expect from me as your Principal. As the Principal here at Forman, I will cultivate a culture of growth, collaboration, high expectations, and learning at high levels for everyone on our campus. I will lead with a positive spirit, recognizing the work that has already been accomplished while still pushing our students, staff, and community to go even further. He tenido el honor de servir como educador desde el 2003. Me emociona mucho ejercer mis habilidades y experiencias en Forman y trabajar junto a ustedes para apoyar a los estudiantes a medida que alcancen el mayor éxito. A lo largo de mi carrera como educador y líder escolar, he trabajado en Garland, Frisco, Nashville, Tennessee y, durante los últimos nueve años, aquí en Plano. Al principio de mi carrera trabajé como maestro de Salud y entrenador de Educación Física.  Después trabajé como maestro de 4º grado. Durante mi carrera he trabajado con estudiantes de Pre-Kindergarten hasta la escuela secundaria. Durante los últimos seis años, he tenido la oportunidad de servir como asistente de director en la escuela primaria McCall, así como en la escuela primaria Meadows.

En los últimos años, hemos experimentado muchos desafíos y dificultades en nuestra sociedad que han impactado a nuestras escuelas. A medida que continuamos enfrentando obstáculos en nuestro trabajo, la importancia de avanzar y empoderar a los estudiantes es primordial, y el mayor énfasis que tendré como su director. Como director, me enfocaré en cultivar una cultura de crecimiento y colaboración, con altas expectativas para el rendimiento y aprendizaje de todos nuestros estudiantes.  Yo soy un líder energético y positivo quien siempre reconoce el trabajo que se ha logrado,  y a la vez reconoce que es necesario tener una visión clara para guiar el trabajo de nuestros maestros, padres y estudiantes. Así podremos lograr más y alcanzar nuestras metas.
