Hey there! My name is Kelli Jones, and this is my second year of teaching, but my first year at Frankford Middle School. I am married, and we are expecting our first baby on August 10! My husband and I moved from Longview, which is in east Texas, on June 10th, when he got his job with the city of Richardson over at Sherrill Park Golf Course. A little bit about me- I love sports! Specifically football and basketball. I am from central Texas, a little town called Bandera. I have three brothers and five nieces. I graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler in spring of 2021 with my bachelors degree in Human Behavior. My certifications for teaching extend from kindergarten through 12th grade, and I am specifically certified in English for 7-12. I love my two animals that we have at home, a kitty cat who is 12 and her name is Peanut, and a puppy who is 11 whose name is Palmer. Things I do for fun are reading- I LOVE to read. I have the kindle app on my phone, which I am constantly reading on, as well as the good old fashioned books you hold in your hands! I also really enjoy running, like really long distances. Before I found out I was pregnant, I was running 7 miles a day, for 5-6 days a week. I also enjoy working out in other forms, such as golf, Camp Gladiator, tennis, and baseball. I also enjoy a variety of music, and will almost listen to anything just depending on my mood! I love teaching, and I cannot imagine doing anything else with my career.
