Hello! My name is Austin Sumlin, and I am very excited to start my first year teaching at Plano ISD.

I've been a middle school English teacher for several years, but this will be my first year teaching 8th grade, as well as my first year teaching at a public ISD. 

I firmly believe that critical thinking, listening, and reading skills are the most inportant skills one can learn, especially as more and more of our society is online, and I always aim to teach these skills through my lessons. 

I look forward to teaching at Frankford Middle School this year and meeting each of my students!
