Hello everyone! My name is Cynthia Jenks, I am a 5th grade bilingual teacher at Daffron Elementary School. I originally graduated from McMurry University for my Bachelor's in Education. After graduating from McMurry in 2005, I began my teaching career at Abilene ISD. After gaining experience through teaching, I decided to obtain my Master's in Instructional Design, which allows me to create more effective and intentional lesson plans to deliver to my students. As of the 2022-2023 school year, this will be my tenth year as an educator. I am excited to begin the school year as the 5th grade reading, social studies, and science teacher. I look forward to working with my students this year towards academic growth and achievement. To accomplish this goal, I will work alongside the parents, educators, and staff to provide each student with the best education possible.
