David McWhirter is entering his 25th year in public education. He is currently serving as Campus Athletic Coordinator at Bowman Middle School. He recently worked at Grand Prairie HS as a Varsity Football Assistant and taught Avid and Professional Communications. He has also taught and coached in McKinney ISD for 19 years. David is married to Leslie McWhirter and has 2 sons, Samuel and Sullivan. In his free time, he enjoys serving at church, volunteering with youth sports, and playing golf.
